Castlefreake: Fundraiser at Fisher’s Cross Pub.

“The Underdogs”  and  “Blue Velvet”  are friends of WCRR, and regularly play at O’Donovan’s Hotel, in Clonakilty, and have,  on occassion, donated their fee to WCRR, and have played at several events to help raise funds and awareness for the WCRR.    Recently, several of the musicians, Jeannie, Laura, Karl, Robin, Justin, Breda, Finbarr, Chris and Keith to name but a few, held an auction of donated goods at O’Donovan’s Bar in Fisher’s Cross near Castlefreake and raised over €1,200 euro for the charity.   A wonderful evening of music followed and refreshments were generously supplied courtesy of proprietor.
